Well the other day I had the transfercase recall done on my car. They did it with out any problems. (Whooo! New Transfercase) But later that day that I got it back, the engine light came on. So I was like, great one thing after another. I went to autozone or advAuto...one of the 2, and I had them get the code. The code that came up was this:
TroubleCode OBDII (Alpha) P Code
TroubleShooting P0125
The PCM has determined that the amount of time it took for the coolant temperature sensor to reach an input vale consistent with closed loop operation was too excessive.
Mmmmm.... The guy said that it was the temp sensor. So I got a new one, it was wrong, went to chryslar dealer and after 3 orders got one that they and I belived was the one. At all the auto stores they came up with a different sensor than what I had. But the one I have now is the same except the edges that touch the coolant are somewhat rounded, and the guy said that this one was different than the one he was going to originally order, he thought it was an updated part. And it seemed that way. Anyway, I put that in today, and was driving down the road, and bing it comes back on. Went to the auto store, and got the same code. I think it might be the temp switch that controls the guage, becuase that doesnt seem to work (once turned on stays in middle all the time). I'm not sure any help would be great. Thanks.
