To make a long story short, my gears have been griding like mad for the past few days... first and reverse were terrible. I open my hood for an inspection of the cables, MC, and SC... well, I notice something on the top of my transmission. There is a crack about 8 inches long going from the top left bolt (when looking towards the front left wheel) to the label on the upper right side. I had a friend depress the clutch while I was looking at the transmission and the crack widens and the engine flexes a little. What the #### happened here? The only thing I can think of is the added pressure to move the 2600 only worsened a little crack that was previously there (that I had no prior knowledge of). Suggestions?
