tranny wont down shift to second

I jsut put in a act 2100clutch kit myself after i totaly fried the stock clutch when i first purchased the car it woulndnt down shift into 2nd untill car was under 20mph so i changed the clutch when it needed it now it still wond down shift untill below 20 mph and it hard geting 1st and somtims kicks shifter out of reverse i have bled the system and adjused the cluch pedal adjuster screw and added a longer slave push rod and it still is torturing me thanks for any help

Could be bad tranny syncros, when i bought my car I couldn't shift into 2nd, I ended up having to rebuild the entire transmission.

If you did everything right on the clutch swap, make sure nothing is rubbing on the shift linkage when you shift into 2nd / 4th / reverse. Sometimes lower radiator hoses or intake snorkels can block, push gears around or otherwise move the linkage. Hope that helps.

which linkage are you talking about the shifter select or ?

the friction point on the tranny is ike 2 inches off the floor so im thinking it might be the clutch master cylinder so i called the cdealer and they wanted 190 so i went to auto zone and picked one up for 60 might me the slave but donk know yet will find out and tell you guys
