I've heard horror stories about capital. So I avoid it like the plaque. Cecil or 75-80 for me

Caiptol isn't that bad. The track it's self is decent and flat and plenty of room for braking/Shut down. There track prep how ever is almost non existant and there track clean up can take half the night. Oh and my biggest pet peeve, as of this season, they put cones up on the sides of the wet box so ALL cars have to get their tires wet. They told me that is so cars that were going around the wet box don't bring stones/debris up to the line. No AWD cars get to track water up to the line instead. I got a real simple answer capitol, IT'S CALLED A BROOOOOOOOM! A lot safer to have some pebbles to sweep away and stuck in my sticky tires than to try to launch a car and floor it over 100 mph with wet tires. I'm done ranting.

I guess you didn't realize that Sandra had an entry in the BBQ contest last year, along with one of the members of DMC Racing. You probably ate Sandra's cooking and didn't even realize it!

One of the main reasons I'm going back to the Yellow Bullet Nationals this year is because of the awesome free BBQ i had last year. If that was her cooking, tell her i said KEEP IT UP! :hellyeah:

Planned on going to cecil tomorrow...but aparently it's gonna be raining as it has been all week. I'm really hoping to get up there soon. It'll be the first time the cars seen the track.

With that said, did anyone plan on going up on the 16th? It'd be nice to meet a few of the local members.

DAUMNS^ I was gonna go to 75-80 but there manginas got all sandy and they closed down:( I may try to hit up cecil next friday. After I get my cyclone intake wired up to work, Maybe add a few degrees to my timing. IDK, I really should get bigger injectors. 450's at 20 pounds.....Sounds like a headache waiting to happen....

HAHAHA Man-Gina LOL
Yeah you might want to throw in some 550s or maybe some stock evo 8 injectors, i think those are 580s?
No worrys for me, i'm using this time with the head off as a time to do upgrades. I'm supposed to reassemble the head today with a buddy with some new dual valve springs. I haven't ordered a head gasket yet though, so if i'm not reusing mine it may be another week before i race it.
Cecil is a good track for racing, but from Laurel it's a hike, plus you have at least 2 tolls going up and one coming back.

Ya, there not too expensive. Ive been to cecil once that was in my mazda I liked it. Tolls dont bother me to much. As there are ways to avoid them If i wanted to

As of now...the weather is looking good for Friday. High of 66 with a low of 48. I've gotta do a few things to get the car in tip top shape but right now it looks like I'll be attending.
