I'm in need of some help and I'm wondering if anybody has had similar issues. I have no experience with electrical systems and no time to do the work myself so a shop has been doing all the work for me.

I'll quote the email I got today and hopefully it helps

"We tested it more and everything from the TPS to ECU is showing the correct voltage but the code comes up at WOT, he adjusted the TPS to be lower than 5.0v at WOT and that didn't fix it which was kind of expected as a high voltage would be a different code. The TPS is verified good, the wiring is verified good, the input and output from the ECU is verified good but it throws the code, the next step would be to rule out an internal circuitry issue inside the ECU which means we need another ECU to try. We don't have lines on used parts, let alone a source for tested electronics, the only place we can find anything is ebay, do you happen to know some local DSM guys or even by some long-shot have a spare ECU?"

I have a chipped ECU from DSMlink that's new so I assumed the ECU wouldn't be the problem.

    Thanks

    What year car?
    What code?
    What was the original problem?
