I have one of these and it a peice of shit. No matter how much I clean it the adjustments always get fouled up. The belt slips all the time. Its twice as heavy as my dewalt, And when I make cuts less then 1/2 inch or so the peices fall into the blade recess and shoot back up at me on the next cut. Oh and the dust collector doesn't really collect dust as well as it doesn't collect dust.

Yeah its a decent box but you cant have everything, what about engine tools? Straight edge, feeler gauges, dial bore gauge, cylinder head tools, ect. ect. I have a 67" wide box and I got the thing jam packed and still dont have everything I need. Shit guy I work with has a 105" box and he doesnt have everything he needs. I think I spend about $400 a month on tools. You cant have everything! hehe. Also I didnt mean to say little box , its not little but, too small to have everything you will ever need.

EDIT>> I noticed you got the Stand Up socket trays, arent those friggn awsome?! I got those for all my sockets.

Yeah I hear what your saying, if I was still working as a tech I would no doubt still be buying more tools. I used to give the snap-on guy 100 a week for about 4 years, not to mention the other tool guys. Considering I pretty much only work on my dsm now and a few side jobs I can't justify spending any more on tools. I don't have a dial bore gauge, but for the cost of one and the fact I would only use it once a year at most its more cost effective to go to the machine shop. And yes the socket trays are the best socket organizer I have ever seen or used. Everything in my tool box is very well organized, the guys at the dealership would always give me crap but I like to know exactly where a tool is before I even open the drawer. Why is it that buying tools just as addictive as buying mods?:D

Yeah tools are my addiction for sure. 100 bucks a week yeesh! I did have 3 truck accounts going, im down to 2 now with cornwell and snapon. I have been buying the hell out of engine tools because im on some local forums and guys are always asking me to help with builds and the more tools I have the more money I can make so I keep buying stuff.

Favorite car tool???

A 2 bag bladder jack...........once you bust 40 years old, pumping a hydraulic jack sucks. Hook up a hose and hit a button, pop a jack stand under it and move on to the next corner.

Best thing for an old man.

This is my home tool box. The one at the shop is just a big black Matco.

I'm a bit of a Matco fan. They're typically less expensive than the Snap-on and Mac tools(although I have some of those as well), and they are just as strong. That, and I should be worshiping my Matco guy for the hella hookup he is giving me.

Here's the home box. I should add, this thing looks small in pics, but actually stands to about hte middle of my chest. I'm 5'10"

That black matco "box" you have is just their super beefy service cart right? I like matco tools as well, I just wish they had better warranties and warranty service for their air tools.

I had an almost identical cart when I started out, mine was from cornwell though, they gave me 100% of my money back on trade-in!! Retailed for 600, bought for 450(school pricing) grew out of it in like 3 months and bought my MAC 67" box and I love it. The MAC box retailed for like 4800 bucks but I got it for 2500(School Pricing Owns.) My next box will without a doubt be a snapon box, nobody builds a better box.

:shrug

I have an old Airforce tool box that I got for free from my bro across the street. Has pretty much everything I need in it. It's usually got to be dumped out before a project and then re-loaded before I put it away, but when your garage looks like this, you really don't bother putting stuff away. :p

As for favorite tools, I have two: the word f*ck and a stereo playing classical music to keep me calmed down. It's a safe bet to be calm when you're heating something red hot prior to beating on it with a hammer. ;)

The home or shop box? Mine are both black. But yeah the home box is the service cart.
