Tire Sizes

I have to replace my front tires, already replaced my rear, I currently have 205 50 16 in the front, and 225 50 16 in the rear, will the same size tires that I have in the rear fit in the front, I have a 95 talon tsi which is a bit dropped with aftermarket suspension.

You're actually SUPPOSED to have the same tire sizes all around. 225s are really maxing out the rim width, if you have stock 6" wide rims. Stock size is 205-55-16, but 225-50-16s are about the same height and won't throw your speedometer off. I personally think they're too wide for those rims, though. I recommend that if you can, get 4 of the stock size. If not, get 2 more 225-50-16 ones.

225 50 16 fit pretty good...and the plus side is that it will only throw your speedo off by about .33%.

Replace all your tires at once and try to make sure you get your car aligned and tires rotated accordingly next time. Having different size tires puts excess strain on the differential and could cause it to break early.

Agreed! I think the largest tire size that you can go on the stock 16x6 wheels is 215/50/16. I use 225/50R/16 Nitto 555R DR's on my 16x7 Konig Villains at all corners.
