@motomattx
thanks for your input
you say 900 hp on what kind of fuel?
highest we have overhere is 98 octane so tuning with that
what will be a realistic number on hp?
with completely build engine ?

Keep in mind that 98 octane in the EU is roughly equivalent to 91/92 octane premium in the United States.

That being said, you're probably also going to need meth injection to hit your goal. And probably NOS. Like others have said, hope you have a deep wallet.

Thats on Ethanol, E85-E100, I would still think that with real 98 octane and a good tune you should be able to get 700 hp reliably, maybe more with methanol injection to increase detonation resistance, on 92 USA octane? hard to say, in that case I would say that methanol injection would be mandatory if your looking for over 600hp.

With pure 98 octane, you will need a big turbo, big cams and low compression to run it at 600HP. Essentially you would building a car for 800-900HP on race gas or E85, but restricting boost to 600 HP to keep cylinder pressures down. I've heard of Evos making 700-725 HP on pump gas and methanol, but you have to be very confident in your methanol kit and tuner.

The 725 HP I saw had a Precision 6766, so you'll probably want a 6466 or bigger, with a larger A/R turbine and a very nice tubular T4 header. The intake manifold should be able to take advantage of a higher powerband, so something like a Magnus cast manifold. Throttle body should be big to match the intercooler piping, which should be around 3". The goal for this is to minimize restriction everywhere, especially the exhaust to keep backpressure low. The intake side should have a high quality intercooler to keep IATs low. Make it as free-flowing as possible to keep cylinder pressure down.

Garrett GT4202-4294(r), Magnus V3 cast intake, 6 bolt big port head, 100mm throttle body, cdi ignition, etc.

I wouldn't fill the block at 600-700. Plenty have made that power with no block issues.

They dont even need filled at 1000hp, above that you might want to go half filled if you want.

so building an engine that runs on e85
i have read that the fuel pump has to be aquiped to run on methanol
are there other parts of the engine that need to be changed for methanol?(E85)
E85 is Ethanol, not Methanol, most fuel pumps are fine with Ethanol, some fuel hose material doesnt last long with it, I like to run as much anodized aluminum parts as possible with any alchohol based fuel unless you run steel which is fine, I would just avoid bare aluminum in the fuel system as much as you can. I run hard coated pistons for Nitro/Alchohol but as long as you run good oil and run an occasional tank of gasoline or a fuel additive you should be ok if you cant run coated pistons.

my bad
thanks for the info
avoid pure aluminium on fuelparts

So after doing some reading like you guys said, 1000 on pump is not gonna happen so i was thinking on the following mods;

Fully build block and ported head (1000 hp capable)
walbro 450
fic 2150
pt 6466
dsm link
full 3 inch exhaust
tubular ex manifold
magnus intake

So what hp range i can get out of this set up on pump and on E85?

thanks

The fuel pump would limit you to around 650-700whp on E85, so that's the max there. With a double pumper, you'll be able to stretch that to 750-800whp.
On pump gas, 600-650whp, limited by knock.

1000 to 1200 HP depending on dyno used.
walbro 450 x2
fic 2150 +1000cc
gen 2 pte 7285 ..maybe Pte 6870
dsm link (min) stand alone preferred
Fully built motor $$$$$ half filled
full 3.5 inch exhaust
tubular ex mannifold
magnus intake or some other drag intake
75mm throttle body (or more)
9200 rpm ....or more
150amp alternator or better
E85 or better........

For a 1g AWD on street 700hp is more than you can use. 700hp on e85, on any of the new wonder turbo's, limit boost to 40psi = fun fun fun. Don't suggest you go for 1000hp $$$$ I am going for 1000hp after 12 years of 700HP and its actually a big step up.
