ok guys im gettin my windows tinted,
and not sure what combo percentages......
(here is what i can get away with, police wise in NJ)

Front pass/driver = 35% and Back 3 windows = 20%

or

Front pass/driver = 35% and Back 3 windows = 5%

Any pics would help my decision, lets see those tints boys:thumb:

See thats hot:thumb:
but in NJ cops will x that right out with a razor blade,
Our law is the windsheild and driver side can not have any tint, but all other windows can be 5% if you want,
so the fronts have to be 35%- i can get away with that!
but was woundering about the transition from the 35% to a 5%,
if it would look to drastic! so i might go with 35%front and 20%back:confused: so if any one has pics ...please:cry:

Are you allowed to get the front tinted? I have no idea, neither of the examples did. I also need it, but to keep the sun away, not style. Wish you could put 2 way mirror windows on your car

No man you cant even get that strip at the top of your front windsheild,
Nothin on the driver side or front windshield, but they wont hassle me woth the 35% on the driver/pass windows
the weird thing about the law is that it allows any tint if its stock as in when you buy the car new its comes with the tint.

i got 5 all around on my car and even a drop on teh front and the cops don't hassle me, havent yet at least? oh well.. :) looks good

I have the combo you want on mine, 5% rears and 35% fronts, this pic is kinda crappy, can get a better one this weekend if you want....

nice
it looks good, i think im goin to go for the 5% back and 35% front, its a 1st gen so the two tone black with the tint should look ok,
grey forset its measured by how much light is aloud in, like 5% is a limo tint, 35% is like the lights you would want to go.i dont know if that helps

hey I don't know what exactly the cops are like where you all are but NY their pretty hard on tint, but its one of those deals where if you take it off they drop the ticket, an easy way around this is go to a parts yard and buy two extra front windows, this way when you get a ticket you just switch the windows, show a cop, get it marked off, ticket gets dropped, then just put your tinted ones back in. Kinda of a pain but its cheaper than numerous tint fines.

The wing is coming off - I just have to wait till I can fix the holes where the wing bolts in :p

I was gonna go 20% all the way around, in maine we can only have 50% so i think ill go 35 in front and 20 up back

I got 5% all around with 50% on the windshield. Sorry, no pics right now. I don't know if this works in every state, but what my friends have done when they got a tint ticket is to go to the guy they got the tint from and ask for a receipt that says the tint was stripped. If you just take that to court, the ticket gets dropped.

But, our tint guy is cool, so i don't know if every tint guy would do that without actually stripping the tint. We bring this guy LOTS of buisness, so that may be a reason.
