ok, i think i am starting to figure some of this out. I am logging timing count of 40+ when i am on the throttle. I am currently running 14 psi on a b16g, with stock fuel system, and at about 10psi (@wot) i get knock counts up to 13. my idle timing ranges from 7-9, isnt this a bit off too?!

Are you sure you are at WOT when your getting 40 degrees of timing? Something is not right. Can you post the log?

i would but i cannot get tuninstein player to install (file is corrupt or somthing), but i noticed that my wastegate actuator nipple was bent to the point that it was cracked, leaking in air. now that i have that fixed i can keep a steady 11.0 lbs of boost, with little knock.

However, i am still getting reaaaly high timing. even at partial throttle im getting between 38 and 45. any ideas??

It's OK to get timing that high at part throttle. 7-9 degrees of timing at idle is also very normal.
