Hey guys, the car is running with a 1g motor in my 97 GST and it runs okay I guess. I went to put a timing light to it the other night and the timing is jumping around 3-5 degrees give or take. Is this normal? I was adjusting the cas sensor and it was moving the timing around as it should but it doesn't sit on one mark like most cars do. Does this have anything to do with my MAP sensor not being in line with my brake vacume line (haven't had a chance to run the line but the sensor is plugged in)? The car idles fine, but I don't think it's performing like it should. Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Damn.. no replies??? No guesses? Well it doesn't matter anyways cuz the motor blew this past weekend! I just put this one (94 motor) in two weeks ago and it spewed oil everywhere and something broke... I'm guessing the balance shaft ate my motor... So lets see, first motor (1997) blew a month ago due to crank walk, second one (1994) blew this weekend cuz of the balance shaft.
