Timing belt help.......

Not sure if its the timing belt or what, but the belt that controls everything in the car just blew again. I was driving and i revved and noticed my power steering went out. Once i stopped i realized the belt blew out on one side and had flipped itself over. Less then a month ago, the same thing happened and i got the tensioner belt replaced and now im having the same problem again. Any help or info on why this is happening?

If your timing belt did that you'd be looking for a few new valves. Sounds more like your accessory belt fliped. First check to make sure that you crankshaft pulley hasn't seperated from the hub (common problem). When they do they can start wobbling and throw belts.

yea, it was my powerteering belt/ac belt that went out. I dont know much about working on my car, so i took it to the shop that changed te belt a month ago along with the tensioner. I just hope i dont have to pay for any other major repair....

how expensive is it to replace that crankshaft pulley, cause I think mine is going out and I am limited on funds. Please let me know at [email protected]
