The New Greddy/Trust Profec B spec II (Info & Pics)

Don't know if htis has been posted already or not.. my apologies if it has.. at first i thought this was the new Greddy TT.. but infact it's the new Profec B.. i checked the JDM Trust website. and no real info and pics were there.. (unless i was blind) so i got thees from ebay.. they are selling on ebay for $300~ .. with this new profec out.. the old style profec B should be pretty cheap.. so if your still paying $300 for the old Profec B.. u better think twice..

Any word on if you still have to run a vac line to the unit in the car??
That was really the only problem with the old ProfecB- running a stupid vacumm line into the cab for an electric boost controller.

No they are suppose to be able to run like 43 psi so no problem there i will be buying it upwith in the next couple weeks woohoo!!

from RRE:

- LCD screen to monitor boost pressure in real time.

- Readout now in kPa or PSI. (100kPa = 1.01972kg/cm2 = 14.5psi)

- Control boost up to 43 psi (This may vary on different turbo systems)

- There are 2 preset settings that can be selected by a single switch.

- The response and the consistency of the boost can be adjusted by using the GAIN, START BOOST setting.

- A built in warning feature will alert the driver when the boost exceeds the set boost pressure with an alarm and a message in the display.

- When the warning feature is activated, the LIMITER feature can lower the boost to a safe pressure.
PEAK boost feature will allow the user to check the highest boost recorded.

Seems to me its the same size (1/4 DIN)...but Im not sure.

They never really had a problem with hight boost before if you were running an external with the right spring.

With the low boost setting on max I get 16psi, just like you do with a 7psi spring. Haven't tried adjusting the highboost knob to max (14b) yet, but I don't see why the relationship wouldn't be linear between the two settings.
HKS standard gate, 14.7psi spring, o2 mounted, both ports used.

I have the Profec B and my external waste gage spring is one bar and the max psi that I can get out of it is right around 25 psi.
