is that jack in the front of my 95 gsx stock stereo deck an auxilary input? i have no idea.. and i pressed the button but it didn't do anything so i assumed i need to have something plugged in before i could access it.. if this is really an input.. i guess im going to get an mp3 cd player :)

On some versions, it's marked "CD". It'll take anything with an output: the voice responses from Streets USA from your laptop, the earphone from your cop scanner or shortwave handi-talkie, an MP3 player, or its intended use, a portable CD player. If yours is marked "AUX", it's probably the M584 head unit, which has a remote CD input for a trunk player, but no output for the underseat amplifier.
