I have read several posts that talk about a chip that goes with your s-afc and logger. What is this chip? I have a 98 GSX. :thumb: Also is there a logger i can put on my laptop so i dont have 2 buy a palm??

There are several loggers that will work with a laptop and your 2g DSM. Google for "OBD2 datalogger" or "Alex Peper" (that's the one I use).

OR, you can get a DSMLink, which will require an ECU swap on your car. It makes your SAFC unnecessary (by giving you even better tuning options) and includes a better logging setup for a laptop...

I think you can just run the software through you laptop but your going to need the Link to link it to the ecu.

If by "the Link", you mean "a cable", you're right :) All you *need* is data logging software and a cable (normally sold as a package).
