Terminate It?

I have a Apexi N1 cat back coming in the mail tomarrow. My first new toy. I was wondering what you guys think of just gettin the long down pipe and eliminating (terminating) my cat. Or go for the high-flow cat ? Its an extra 150 + the short downpipe ($250). My sticker is good till 6/04, but my friends tell me some pretty nasty stories of road side spot checks and such. I also heard in NJ if they catch u without a cat it is a $10,000 fine. New Jersey is not nice. What you guys think?

I suggest you find out how strict your law enforcement really is with having no cat. If they are strict, get a 3" hi-flow cat if not, then get the cat-eliminator dp.

if i get the apexi n1 downpipe and hook it up, will i be able to rehook up the old setup for emissions inspection?

I have no idea what NJ emissions laws are, but either way, buy the non cat elim dp and get a test pipe for after emissions testing. have both the testpipe and cat flanged so that you can take them off and switch them for street/strip use.

aight well i talked to rnr and they said they got an o2 eliminater 3" (with O2 housing) dp and high flow cat that can fit my apexi n1. Im guessing it will fit my T-25 and later a big 16g (or T-28) Is 3" dp and high flow cat asking for creep? Does the .5" (between the 2.5 or 3.0) make a difference?

You should have no problems with boost creep on your t25 setup. I have a 3in downpipe, no cat, and 3in exhaust with no creep at all on my 14b. Especially if you get the o2 eliminator then you should have no problems at all.
