I experimented with a bolt trying to make it pass the block ear and hold it to the other side of the engine mount but it didn't work. One of the engine mount bolts is right in the way. But I think there is something really wrong in there. When I turn on the car and press the clutch I can hear a grinding sound unlike the one that you can hear when it doesn't want to take the gear. Is like everything in there grinds when I press the clutch and there's smoke coming from the clutch also. Another thing is that the clutch pedal has no pressure at all, it goes directly to the ground. I changed the master cylinder and it's still not hard. I got pissed and just decided to sell the car like it is.

All that stuff you just explained is because of the block being broken. Trust me, i went through every single thing you just explained. You should have pulled the tranny, and gotten someone to weld it. Not that big of a deal.

Was that what u did with yours? Does it work well after u fixed it? Because if that's what it'll take I can have it welded then.

No i didnt weld it, i posted at the beginning of the thread. I went with a new block. One, i didnt want to deal with transporting the engine to a shop and two it was already in bad shape besides the broken mount. But yes, if you get it welded it will hold up just fine. With everything you have described i guarantee you all these problems will go away once you do it and mount the tranny nice and tight.

BYW that grinding noise you're hearing is nasty isn't it. That's the clutch disk hitting the PP. If you need to drive your car, tighten the hell out of the remaining tranny bolts and dont beat on it and you should be ok for a day or two till the tranny loosens again.

I wish I could get it to run like it is. Or are you saying I should take it easy after I weld the piece?

I wish I could move the car how it is, but it's impossible. The clutch pedal goes straight to the floor when I press it with no pressure at all. The cluthc line is new, the master cylinder is new, I bled the line like crazy and still no pressure.

PS Thanks for the duct tape idea :barf:

did you read anything i have posted yet?

do this and it will work

I wish man, I already tried it a long time ago and still no luck. Remember the clutch pedl goes all the way to the floor with no pressure at all so it does not push the slave cylinder even a bit.
