My bad. Did they tear the motor out of the orange car and put it into Lawson's or are those two seperate cars?

Two separate cars. Also, motor was built literally hours before the dyno run. Very impressive to say the least.

We were going to use a turbo of similar size, and more than likely an even more aggressive back wheel (P trim) when we were building my Laser up to be a salt flats car. I definately wouldn't recommend you using that turbo on your car. You'd HATE and let me re-emphasize HATE that turbo if you ever drove the car on the street, and you'd have big problems getting that car to leave.

Regards,

What do you guys think about this turbo...
tso4 compressor cover 4" inlet
66 mm wheel
garrett oil center, 360 thrust bearing
.48 a/r turbine side ( spool )
and a stage 3 turbine wheel

What turbo did you have on the car before? How much power did you make?

Regards,

i told you it was a bad idea;)

i know its bad but i fig what the hell now im working on selling it
does anyone know of any good sights to sell BIG turbos on????

You TsiPro16g sound like a dumb ass with a lot of money or finds a t-72 for free somewhere?? you have never run your car down the 1/4 to stupid to turn a wrench on your own car that should make atleast 550whp and run low 10s w/0 Nitrous. on the 60-1? now wants a T-72 that "no one has ever run", but I know of a dsm that runs that big of a turbo, he sprays the 100or so shot off the line and runs high 8s makes some 850whp and destroys trannys every other day. and now your car has sat for over a year, ither your stupid our the BS flag is sky high.

~John
just my opinion

No BS....We are wating on parts...and it sat for so long cause i had one mec working on it then just up and stop and run with some money...and now i had to have another mec take over and it took somt time to fix what he f**ked up...and im sorry if i have money and like fast cars, and have a real job so i cant work on them my self...im sure most of you on here had mommy and daddy buy them there car, i bought my own, i buy all that i own...so you can say im BS all you want but i know what i have...and when my car gets out if anyone wants to prove me wrong come out to MD and race me...

Actually most people on here do buy their own #@%#@%#@%#@% and pay for their own #@%#@%#@%#@%. This isn't a honda board!

Also why do you have the T72 in your sig if it is not on the car? Just curious, because your sig doesn't mean #@%#@%#@%#@%.

And lastly, let me get this straight, You have all these great parts and all this money and your car is still in the shop. It oes to prove to all of us who actually don't have boat loads of cash, that money and all the lateset and greatest parts do not actually make you faster.

All i have to say on that is it dont matter how you get there as long as you do...

t72...thats weak. i gots a t123 gerbil charger with a 400 shot of food pelates:)

Almost everyone here buys all their own parts. Most have "real" jobs, yet still find the time to work on their own car.
You have a "tooning" shop build your car? HA what are you too much of a pansy to pick up a wrench or do you just not know what you're doing?

"this just in, a car in a shop that isn't running is NOT a fast car!"

Im sorry i have not worked much on this car but i have built many other Race cars in my past(1998 VW GIT VR6 supercharged, 1968 Mustang 351, and a 1997 Honda Civic all the rice parts), but since i didnt know much about the DSMs at the time i didnt have enought time to play around with it, when i just rather take it to a shop that works on DSMs that way i know it will be done right the first time...But i will admit i have never built a car to this extreme so there for id rather leave it to the pros.

I would stroke your 2.0 to a 2.2 or 2.4 so you have that extra "push" to spool up that huge a$$ turbo.

I was just posting what I thought which was right, you have money, you have no time or skill in turning your own renches. thats it and the
T-72 is a reall funny thought "dowg." Giving you a hard time, I have a really job as well make 11.25 an hour, bought my own house, have $15,000.00 out of my pocket money that I have made and turned every nut/bolt to make it happen into my car, now I am goin to dump another 8-9gs to make it fast and handle. good luck on your "first time" T-72.
330whp on pump(stock cams)

Man if you can't work on your car and they won't work on your car and you Make $$ . Send it to a DSM shop who work only on DSM and you'll have your car in three weeks tops. If you already have a built motor. I make good money and have some time to work on my car but if I can't do it.I'll send it to a DSM shop and get it done right. But if your goal is 10's get a 60 trim or 60-1 trim hybrid turbo or a RED from FP and you'll be happy. But that's just my thought.
