After a very long hiatus today marked a truly significant day in the car's history.

After being put into storage 3 years ago due to critically dangerous amounts of rust in the shock towers, two weeks ago with the help of JasonDSM the GSX and a donor car I purchased were towed to a local shop in Greensboro NC and the engine bay was cleared, engine and transmission pulled and the old rusted-out shock towers and radiator support removed so that the donated shock towers could be welded into the GSX and the lower radiator support replaced with 1/4" plate.

Today the car got its final paint job and tomorrow the engine will be going back in and the car will be taken home!
