discuss.....
*EDIT*
personally here it what i think
wow, some people are just stupid. ####ing retard and his parents are dumber than he is "lets put the blame on something other than our stupid asses for giving him the ####ing vette to impress girls" i'd like to stab each of them in the eyes with a rusty screwwdriver , tell them to grow up and take some ####ing resposibility for killing their kid.

its the same as people blaming marilyn manson for columbine... people dont want to get blamed, they'll blame someone else who others will blame with them. who wants to look like a bad parent? and besides, its probably the 100th incident in the past 2 weeks if parents arent smart enough to realize this stuff is going on.... another thing, if its not your car, you're gonna treat is worse than you own... i killed my parents 91 caravan's engine doing burnouts (automatic) we all were naieve once

THATS WHAT YOU GET FOR GIVING A 17 YEAR OLD A CORVETTE I THINK THE PARENTS ARE MORE TO BLAME THAN ANYTHING
NOT SOME STUPID MOVIE

I agree withe Black ninja, but the kid was a moron to start with.. anyone that thinks they can go on the streets with traffic and try some shit out of a movie is a COMPLETE ####ING IDIOT!... pro drivers wreck all the time (well not all the time but you know what im geting after) and some kid with probly no high speed experiance thinks...ahh nm, er.. sad that the kid lost his life for such a stupid reasion...

OMG, people are so stupid, blame it in the movie, thats the way to get out of it. How do they even know he went to that movie? They said they are so strict that they always know where he is, well they also said they didn't even know he was going to the movie. So how do they know for sure? Dumbass parents.

According to police reports, Lacasse took the challenge -- as any character in the movie he had just seen would have done. He lost the race and paid with his life.

'nuff said...

All we needed was another scape-goat like 2F&2F.... Now every last pig will be writing tickets for 'modified exhaust' , 'exhibishion of speed' and other shit like that , I'm pissed !

The moment you launch your car, YOU are responsible for whatever happens. End of story.

everyone knew something like this was going to happen. Why do some of you seem surprised? The same thing happened with the first movie. Some people will blame almost anything to make themselves look good. They can have fun convincing themselves that it wasn't the kids fault and blame the movie, but a lot of people know it was the kids fault. Now everyone has to suffer because people are going to be more stricker on traffic violations.

But like I said, everyone knew this was going to happen.

This is the sole reason i hated the first movie.
Irresponsible, retarded people emulating what they see in a movie.
Then we have the neo nazi liberals blaming everyone except the dumbasses soley responsible.
#1 responsible...stupid kid in a vette
#2 responsible, dumb ass parents letting a stupid ass kid drive a vette

i don't think that they were stupid for letting him drive the corvette, he was stupid for pulling the stunt of trying to cut the other driver off. as it said in the article, he liked to drive it occasionally to impress the girls... more power to him. i'm pretty sure he knew how to handle that thing in a straight line, so he would've been fine if he hadn't done some of the stupid $hit that was described as possibly happening.

in the mitsubushis in the mitsubushis in the mitsubushis in the mitsubushis in the mitsubushis in the mitsubushis in the mitsubushis in the mitsubushis in the mitsubushis in the mitsubushis

SON OF A bi*** WHAT KIND OF MITSUBUSHI YOU STUPID REPORTER

Well, welcome to South Florida. That thing was all over the news for a week here. Also the one about the Porche and BMW. They intervied a cop who had a whole lot of crap to say. It was mostly just the whole "the F&F doesn't show the consequences" thing. Hello! It's not a freaking documentry, it's for entertainment!

i haven't heard of the media bashing "jack-ass" for the stuff in there... why do they take it all out on us for a movie about street racing? i've never heard of anyone talking $hit about the dukes of hazard or smokie and the bandit

It's a very sad story, but the even sadder part is what I think is wrong with this country. No one wants to take responsibilty for their actions, and even worse, parents never seeing their kids doing any wrong. Why don't they blame Mitsubishi as well for building the cars that eventually provoked their son to race.

What is the deal with all these t.v. shows and movies being blamed for everything? Just like certain cd's make 15 year old kids go to school, walk into the lunchroom, and unload 2 or 3 clips in any direction. That kid would just be insane. Just like the kid in the article was irresponsible.

At 17 my parents would never let me behind the wheel of a car that fast. I had a 95 Escort and they said after 3 speeding tickets that car was fast enough.

Bottom line, the kind shouldn't have been driving that car and thats on the heads of the parents. Also on the kid, because at 17 you know better than racing period let alone your parents car. No matter who provokes you, or what song is on the radio, or even what movie you just saw.

I had a female friend so close to me I considered her a sister. Three years ago she was running late for work. On top of that she had three friends with her she had to drop off. She was driving her boyfriends Rodeo. She had no license. It was raining, she went to pass someone, and lost control. Well the Rodeo rolled over a few times. She was thrown out of the winshield in the process. She died instantly. As much as I loved her the fault was her own. She had no business driving without a license and her boyfriend knew better than to let her drive without one.

The moral is I'll miss her forever, but I don't blame Isuzu, the weather, or the person she was trying to pass simply because that wasn't the case. She was doing something she shouldn't have and payed the ultimate price.

Sorry to comment so long, but thanks for listening.

Well said :thumb:

How hard would it have been for this tool to simply flip off the evil Mitsu drivers, watch them peel out in a fit of rage, and just get on with his damn life?!?! Did they put a gun to his head? Did they say they were gonna hurt his family if he didn't race them? Damn. In America, you have the opportunity to make you own choices. He chose to race (and *ahem* tried to cut the Mitsubishis off after passing them) and his family must now pay the price.

Sunday night I go out to my car to show some of my friends and someone broke in through my passenger window and stole all my stuff.
afc, three gauge pod with a/f boost egt, stereo speakers two 12's in a custom box, palm pilot i705 with data logger cable, radar detector, they just broke my turbo timer trying to get it out, and some other stuff including wile in the prosses they just ripped out my center console and the middle of my dash ripped out my afc had to have a friend rewire my ecu so my car would start. Then to top it off I went to go to work this morning, and my daily driver 1984 Toyota Tercel peice of crap was stolen, the cops found it in a different apartment complex with all the speakers, subs and stereo stolen. I am so pissed

Yeah that sucks!! I have had days like that, well not exactly but close..I got fired one day then found out my wife was pregnant the next.

You should probly copy and paste this into the HANGOUT section before someone gives you shit.
