Stop slip additives????

Anyone have any good even temporary success with tranmission stop slip additives?

??? I have a 5spd why would I put it there. I'm just looking for any additives that people have used and even helped out slipping as when I put my car in 5th gear it just spinns and i'm going to just get a core and build one while i'm waiting i would like to try and make it so i can use 5th atleast somewhat.
