Dumb question, but I’m curious. Just got my car back together and running an HX35. Would like to make my stock boost gauge work. I have an aftermarket but just to make the dash fully functional is it possible to make it work? I understand running the BCS with an MBC isn’t ideal but just curious if I could run the BCS to some boost source to make the gauge move.

Yea, I know they aren’t accurate but I couldn’t find anywhere of someone making it work only for aesthetics. Worth a shot tho!

One could add a MAP sensor and rewrite the ECU code to use it as the input driving the factory gauge PWM programming.

It still wouldn't be as accurate as an aftermarket boost gauge due to the range of movement.
