Hi Guys!

The car suddenly did not want to maintain on after starting it. As you can see on the video, the car starts up and shuts down after a couple of seconds regardless if you keep the gas pedal on. It started doing this with a horrible ticking noise, so i replaced the lifters with new ones, i found only a couple were actually ok but replaced them all. I was hoping this would solve the issue but it keeps doing it.

Please advice!

With what little information you have provided (year, 6/7 bolt motor, etc.), I will encourage you to check out the video below:

What else have you checked?
Timing, Spark, Fuel?

I haven't changed anything recently, but the last thing i did change were all the belts and water pump, however the car was working just fine, i haven't been using it much recently though. Last time i started it was two weeks ago but it was just on about 3 minutes and prior to that it had about two weeks without starting it.

All the vacuum lines are connected and the lifters were bleed properly. Regarding the CEL's, i have a scanner but it's giving me an error while searching for codes, a friend of mine will be lending me his to check.

2gmitsueclipse wow this issue resembles a LOT with what i'm having, i'll take a look at that sensor as the car starts but in a few seconds it shuts off, sort of like as when the sensor is supposed to start working and if it's faulty it shuts down the engine. Will have it scanned first though.

Sorry for the lack of info previously, i was in a rush. I have a '95 GST with a 7 bolt. Timing, Spark and fuel seem fine.

Also the inside is diiiiirty. Someone recommended an engine flush but i'm not sure. I've heard positive and negatives about it and remain unconvinced. Would changing the oil more frequently, let's say in half of the time it's supposed to, help cleaning it?

as far as it being dirty, changing it more frequently wont clean off whats already built up in the motor. A cleaner will get some of it out. you can do it right before you are going to drain your oil for an oil change. or next time you pull any parts off clean them up with a lil elbow grease before going back on. If you make alot of short trips or just idle the car and not get up to full temp you get more moisture in the oil which builds up more sludge and makes it more acidic
