alright, i was going through the stage 1 setup on the Tuning Guide and when i purchased my car it had most of the mods already done. Now its finally time to get some serious power and upgrade the turbo. Here is whats done to the car

Injen intake, Thermal R&D 3 inch turboback system, aftermarket intercooler piping, Apexi BOV, Apexi AVCR, Walbro 190lph fuel pump

My biggest concern is that i don't quite understand about Internal and External wastegates, and i'm not sure about what to do with the Exhaust manifold and O2 sensor housing. by the looks of the Tuning guide those are the 3 things left i need to get about 300hp (plus eventually a clutch). The car will be used as a daily driver, and maybe taken to the track just to check what it runs, but it is definatly not a seasonal track runner. I'm also looking for a turbo that won't require very much custom work to get it in. I don't want to cheap out and get the most inexpensive one out there, i know the 16G is one people talk about a lot, but i also don't have the money for a top of the line turbo for $1500, i want to have something that has potential for HP about the 300 on the guide. The other main thing is should i get a new Manifold and O2 housing, or should i just find a place that would port mine out (i don't know much about porting) but is there a certain number or amount of porting that needs to be done. I know this is a really long post, but any help that you knowledgable DSM'rs could give me i would greatly appreciate it....thanks

DSMTUNERS, although is very admirable site, goes WOT wit there upgrade list to 300hp check out CHECK IT OUT
IT might make you feel a little better (did wit me)
.......... or maybe its denial

I would personally just go with the Big T28 in your case because it'll bolt right up and its more then 300 horsepower BUT its only a little bit more the the regular T28. I would go with a FPBigT28, some 550cc injectors, SAFC, DSMLink, ACT 2100, EvoIII O2housing, port your current manifold, and I think you can call it a day with performance stuff (at least til the urge to turn up the boost comes muhahahaha). Just get that stuff then tune it and you'll have a fatty.

i was actually looking at the FPbigT28 and was liking what i saw, i noticed that forced performance's car ran an 11.82 1/4 mile with it. The most recent thing i looked at was Hahn Racecraft's Super 16G that seems to be one of the most efficient turbos i've seen on the internet. No boost creep, no ported or clipping needed, capable of up to 400 hp, 12 month warrenty from mitsubishi, and it can be converted to a super 20G later, internal wastegate, and works with stock manifold, all for $599 plus the install kit. http://www.hahnracecraft.com/hahn/parts/s16g.htm

i just wanted to see if anyone knew anything about these, or any other suggestions or comments. Thanks
