Squeak

When I drive the car and I shift into second gear there is a quick squeak sound, sounds like it is coming from I have no idea...I know this is a vague question so dont flame me for it; Just some ideas of what it could be, maybe a broken motor mount??

A squeak? Have you checked to make sure your alternator belt is tight? Thats the first thing I would look for. A motor mount isnt really gona squeak.

If you think one of those is bad try to get a pry bar and with a little force see how much the motor moves. The ones that generally go bad are the front one and the one on the right near the belts.

good thinking!! alternator belt I just had to loosen that belt to install my new damper pulley a few weeks ago, great thinking man...I will be sure to check that asap.
