SQS racing Sequential shifter?

I don't have any experience with this particular product, so I could be wrong, but as I have played with Ikeya Sequen Shifter in my 1g and I assume the shifter mechanism is similar, here is my honest opinion.
Yes, it would be fun since the shifter become I pattern and it will never enter into wrong gear, no more money shift. But if you are hoping to cut down the shifting time seriously, then you shouldn't hope too much especially if your transmission is not a dogbox. It won't make much difference from a H pattern shifter since the transmission side is still the same.

Which sequential shifter worked in your 1g? The Evo4? Did you have to make any mods to make it work?

I'm thinking about ordering one for my 2g.

I used a Ikeya Sequen Shifter for EVO 4-9. So I needed some modification and adjustment for the shifter base and to attach the cables since I used 90's shifter cables and the EVO 4-9 up/down and forward/back cable position is opposite from DSM's. But if you are planning to order the one in the link above, you probably wouldn't need such a modification since the one in the link above is supposed to be dedicated for 1g DSM.
