ok guys im stumped on this one.. the other day i put B37 race gas (118 leaded) in my car and changed my afc and vpc settings and turned up the boost and when i get on it a sputter and some small backfires occur from 5000-7000 rpms. my setup: buschur 20g, tial 40mm external, 3 inch turbo back, indy race cores FMIC, tial bov, 255hp pump, 650 injectors, SAFC, VPC, web street grinds, pocket logger. NOW i was wondering if my coil packs could be going bad cause my fuel trims are ALL 118, knock sum is 1 or 2.. 4 at the most, and when i richen it up till its to rich, it still does it and it still does it when i lean it out until i start to knock more. i have magnacores on my car and i had a extra set laying around and checked my spark plug gap( BPR7ES's) and set it at 32. i thought since i turned the boost up to 28-29 that it would be to much cylinder pressure and blow the spark out.. still did the same thing.. turn the boost down.. STILL the same thing..and NO codes on my datalogger.. ive run this gas b4 and NEVER had this problem and if you guys think its my ignition then what is a good setup w/ a decent price, how about the extreme setup and is it any different as in good versus the stock setup we have?? i have a 90 TSI AWD.. any of your help/insight would be great email to [email protected] if you can.. thanx
