I'm sure I have a data logger laying around you can borrow bro.

I called RRE and ordered the lower pipe. Just waiting on that and the moment of truth. Ray before I start it anything I should do before I start it? Yes I know oil and gas.

Upon installing a new or rebuilt engine I have a few little things, I like to go over.
Some people may do it a little differnet but this is just how I'm use to doing it.

1. With the engine installed in the vehicle and all accessories in place you should
perform the following prior to "Start-Up":
A. Pour proper amount of motor oil into the crankcase _____
B. Cam angle sensor installed with engine at #1 TDC position _____
C. Ignition cables connected to spark plugs correctly and in the correct firing order _____
D. Ensure that all cooling system hoses and clamps are secure & properly
installed _____
E. Pour coolant into the radiator. Fill it as full as possible _____
F. Check other fluid levels: power steering, brakes, etc. _____

2. Starting Up:
A. Prime the lubrication system crank the engine with ecu fuse disconnected or pull the ecu _____
B. Prime the engine is fuel injected, turn the key ON & OFF a few times____
C. Make certain that the ignition coil connections are still good _____
D. Before actually starting, make sure you are ready to:
1. Add additional coolant while the engine is running _____
2. Turn heating system ON full HOT/fan speed on HI _____
3. Watch oil pressure _____ psi
4. Ready to listen to any engine noises _____
5. Adjust ignition timing by ear for the moment offf the Cam angle sensor _____
6. Idle engine at approx. 1,500 RPM for 15 - 20 min. _____
D. START UP THE ENGINE

3. After start-up:
A. Let engine run for a couple of moments and time by “ear” _____
B. Adjust ignition timing to specification.____
C. Keep adding coolant to radiator. After 2-3 min. install cap. _____
D. Run engine at a high idle again for approx. 15 minutes _____
F. Shut down the engine and check:
1. Motor oil _____
2. Power steering _____
3. belt tensions _____
4. Look for leaks of any kind under and above engine _____

IV. Start engine up again and test:
A. Battery charging voltage _____volts
B. Ignition Total Timing at 2,500 RPM
C. Test drive the vehicle
1. Watch engine temperature, oil pressure, noises, etc. _____

Other thing to do after.
1. Double check for leaks... look under and around everywhere.
2. Check the tightness of all hose clamps !
3. On a test drive, to help “break-in” the rings ?
4. Double checked ignition timing. _____
5. retight the exhaust bolt when engine is hot.
6. Any lifter or valve train “ticking” noises that is not normal.
7. Make sure there are no Trouble Codes in the Ecu ______________________
8. Check all Fluids AGAIN ! This is very important but always over looked.
9. Tire pressures
10. Brake lines Front ___________ Rear __________
11. Drive-line bolts / CV boots
12. All under car fluid levels = transfer case, differentials, etc.

Once all checks out and everything is good, time to relax and have a nice cold beer:hellyeah: I hope that helps you out alittle.
