The general opinion has been that they're seriously abusing the term "sponsorship". It's more like "Sam's Club".

i have a sponser, my car is sponsered by a company called Tunerz East. its cool they get me GREAT deals on parts, and do all my mech. work for free. including oil changes

i love it, all i have to do is put his banner on my car. and it looks good on it, i'd prolly fly it for free
