2G Speed Density Harness setup?

Guys, I'm wondering if anyone has used the following setup:

As these cars age, the factory MAF sensor fails and it's getting harder to find a good working one. This harness allows you to convert to a readily available MAP sensor instead. The harness simply plugs into your 2G DSM MAF connector so you can use the new air temp sensor and MAP sensor.

Looking for an alternative to the one sold by extremepsi since the harness is already made on this one. Not sure if the sensor is "omni" but does it matter?

You’ll probably end up buying everything again with BS parts. I trust GM map sensors but nothing but factory GM or Delphi.

I'll probably just buy the harness then since I really hate splicing wires. I'll buy the Omni sensor and the GM sensor elsewhere. Thanks guys.

Omni’s have consistent failure. I’d stay away from them also.

Omni’s are hit or miss for people. The link below might be worth considering if you want to experiment. One other person on this site uses their 5 bar MAP sensor and says it is reliable. I’m testing out their 10 bar for oil pressure, but it’s too early to say if it’s reliable.

Trying to avoid going with an OMNI sensor since I've heard they fail a lot.

I was wondering if this kit would work on my 2g (AEM type)

The most common use for absolute pressure sensors is reading manifold pressure. Clean Injection sensors are built to custom specifications in an ISO9001 Certified facility. Kit includes plug and play adapter which allows the map sensor to plug right into the factory harness map sensor connector.

Ive seen that usually the MAP sensor is hardwired to the stock MAF connector but this kit plugs directly to the TPS plug. Would it work the same?

I plan on tuning with ECUflash if that makes a difference.
