so, my 10 year old son entered the Special Olympics, which will be held here in Idaho.
he will be bowling for the sport of choice. today was his first tournament.
out of roughly 30 kids each with their own disabilities, 3 different schools, my son came in second place based on a 3 game average system. his highest game of the 3 was a 103. bumpers were used of course. he even got a strike, along with multiple spares, and splits, one of which he even picked up .
this will be a first time bowling event for the S.O. so they are testing to see what the do's and dont's are, but he did good on his first tourney.
