yesterday i found that cylinder #1 and #3 had less spark. if the coil pack are bad, the spark should weak at either cylinder 1 and 4 or 2 and 3, because #1 and #4 share the one coil pack and #2 and #3 share one coil pack. right? i have ohm tested my coil pack and it is in good condition.

I tried switching cable plugs from #1 to #2 and #3 to #4 but nothing change. checked the ECU, and it is in good condition .

spark cable? maybe. but i did try switching the cables, nothing change , it still #1 and #3. coil ohm tested, i will try the hair dryer, but if it is not good why it happened only at #1 and #3 not #1 and #4 or #2 and #3 that share the same coil pack? Oh yeah , Coils are at stock brackets and location

Maybe poor connections in the coil towers? Did you replace spark plugs? I've seen failing things that defy explaination before so don't get too hung up on the 1 & 3 are on different coils thing. Also view coil & wires in the dark to see if any arcing is present (especially around the coils - clean all dirt/muck off them - replace if still see arcing).

I changed the spark plugs about two weeks ago ( gapped @ .26).

I have tested the plug cables in the dark, no arcing found. I will try to see if there is any arcing around the coil tonight. If there is, then i will buy a new cable plug or coil.. how to clean the coil?
