The site looks dead that's what I first thought when I went to it, but go to ca.dsm.org and on the left click on Bulletin Board (forums).

ok just wanting to vent a little bit here guys, anybody else having a hard time getting there cars to pass e-test!!! i have like a perfect tune done by a very reputable shop and i still failed 4 times!!!!

go to canadian tire, go in the house paint section....buy some ( methyl Hydrate ) usually comes in 4 litres or 1 litres.... drive your car until you have 1/4 gas left in the tank...poor about 2 liters in your tank...drive it for about 10 minutes and go do your etest.... CAUTION dont drive hard at all....this makes the car run lean and sometimes almost too lean....try not to hit boost too much. make sure you at least have premium fuel in the tank. anyways...you will pass with flying colors.....unless you dont have a cat...your might fail....but this trick ALWAYS WORKS

How the hell did you blow it. That could have something to do with not passing e-test turn down the boost .

Hello! First time poster here. recently picked up a 97 Talon TSI AWD from a coworker for 2K.
Pretty good condition, but I'm running into some issues and have learned the hard way not to go to random shops.
If anyone would like to help me out, I don't know if this is the appropriate place to post, so I'm going to wait it out.


Edit: Oh yeah, I basically got ripped off by a reputable shop, that EVERYONE knows, and am wondering how to go about it.

Hey Everyone,

Reporting in from Mississauga, ON got a 95 talon tsi awd. I am actually looking for stock parts: airbox, hoses that runs from the throttle body to the intercooler, muffler, and tip. Reasoning behind this is my insurance company is going to cancel their policy on me if I do not change shit back, FYI i bought the car like this so yea . And I want to do everything legally hence why I am putting stuff back to stock! If anyone is in the area with parts let me know!

I'm in Windsor and am looking for all kinds of parts .... does anyone know of a decent local shop from Windsor to London that stocks or can get ahold of performance parts for Eagle Talons, I've got 2 and would like to be able to get ahold of lesser parts or even spendy ones offline if possible.

dealing with online I've had issues with wrong parts being shipped and wrong inventory listed at the websites that I the "beta" consumer get to learn and notify them of their error.

yeah yeah the online retailers have been apologetic and stuff but repacking for returns kills the whole deal let alone the phone calls to get the issue dealt with.

anyway if their is a local storefront that is reputable so long as the premium isn't steep I'd like to hear about them.

yah man for sure i added you to my friends list im about to get dsm link you think you could help with some tuning after all your pritty close i'll let you know when i get the d link alright. im looking into a 16G set up soon to but tomaro i will be running on my T25 stock turbo setup at 13psi mesage me when your cars done maybe we can meet up somewhere and check out the whips let me know hope to see some DSM'S at the TRACK tomaro suposed to be birght and sunny
