I'm in the same boat looking at buying a house so have to make all projects mobile for at least a tow truck to load up. Got the power brake set up fit just need to connect lines and fit a steering column to get it out of the garage. Both car projects are on temporary hold til after a house purchase however I took the 3000 to work yesterday.
Can't wait to get back on both cars.

Thank you for making me feel old.Aside from car stuff this is the side thing, I’d be surprised if anyone here knew why I have an almost 30 year old Playstation sitting here running with the door rigged open

I picked this one up to play my ps1 imports, I usually play out of my collection on the ps3 but there’s no way around region restrictions on the ps3, on the ps1 it’s a simple spring and boot disc. I will say, playing on the original PSX console after all these years takes me back, the full start up sequence like you mentioned (pa3 only does the second half when you put a ps1 game in), the noises it makes and the chatter of the optical drive going back and forth, really makes me feel like I’m 10 again gaming on the original PSX for hours on end. The ps3 is nice for playing classics because of the HD capabilities and faster loading, but it doesn’t match the nostalgia of the real thing.Thank you for making me feel old.
Still has the best startup sound of any console IMO.

Me and my wife were just talking about that. It’s a good market depending on what you’re collecting but Nintendo stuff is pulling a premium right now. I bought the N64 I have now 10 years ago for $40 with 2 controllers, a stack of games, and the Gameboy adapter for Pokémon stadium. Just recently I sold ONE N64 game for more than I paid for all of that so collecting Nintendo is paying off if you’ve sat on it a while, also recently sold a copy of Resident Evil 2 for the N64 for about 4 times what I paid for it (have the original non-greatest hits copy for the PSX in great shape complete with the manual I won’t get rid of). On that note now is the time to buy original PlayStation, just bought that console working for $32 shipped as again my ps3 won’t play my imports and my old psONE slim console of yesteryear I modded to run with the lid open has a bad optical drive, optical drive is easy to replace but I was looking at spending the same amount and waiting over a month from China for the part. A lot of PSX titles are still reasonably priced and the imports are dirt cheap right now, been adding to that library as those prices are set to go up soon. Surprisingly as far as Nintendo and Super Nintendo go the import Famicom and Super Famicom cartridges are typically dirt cheap compared to their North American counterparts so aside from the cartridges and artwork usually looking way cooler I’ve been grabbing a lot of those up before the trendy kids catch on.Agreed. Its just too bad that the 'its popular now' crowd has to ruin legitimately everything from our/my childhood. OG PlayStations, N64's, SNES, even the NES are all going for a ridiculous price. God forbid you want any kind of gameboy and games themselves are going for like $60-$100+ a pop on any platform or more. Ridiculous. I'll just emulate them until it comes back down to more reasonable levels. I have my PS still, but I'd really like to get a GB/GBC, and an N64 with a few games to raise my daughter on but I'm not paying brand new console prices for them.

That is awesome- is it an erupting volcano? My 5 year old has been really interested in volcanos lately, so we just did a baking soda/vinegar model outside in the dirt with him and he was thrilled2nd grade volcano model. Needs another coat of the “hot wheels flames” lava paint before she turns it in.

Thank you- We talked about making it functional, but it wasn’t a requirement so we decided to scale back and make it a bit easier. It is the last project of the year after all! That is awesome- is it an erupting volcano?
