I had my car dynoed today at carlisle. It made 224.8hp and 204 ft/lb of torque. I was pretty happy with how it came out, especially since I haven't even tuned it yet. I don't have pics yet, but I have the dyno sheets. Hopefully I can get them up tommorrow.

THe problem I have is that the wideband was saying that I was running really rich, 9.5 on the a/f graph. As soon as he hit the throttle it went down there and pretty much stayed there. I would think that I would be running lean with the minimal fuel mods and t-28. THese runs were made on 15 psi. I have an SAFC hooked up and the pocketlogger coming shortly. When I get the logger, can I lean things out abit on the 450cc's?

Awesome!! I think those are very good numbers for you, especially since your just running a measley 15psi with stock injectors and no fmic. That's probably about 260 to 270 crank hp. I'm running 20 to 21psi on my FP ported Big28 with basically the same mods that you have except I have 550's and a Big GReddy fmic. I'm hoping to be pushing atleast 330 to 350 crank hp if not a little more. I personally wouldn't try leaning it out to much more on the stock 450's. I could be wrong though, only you will be able to decide that for yourself with the help of a pocketlogger, and or egt gauge. Keep in mind that everyones car is different. So... what you run with your current set up compared to someone else's car with your exact set up will more than likely be different on there car, so it's kinda hard to tell you if you can indeed lean out your 450's more than you have already. Good luck!!

Don't go off of what the dyno's wideband tells you. Almost every case I have seen people tune to that they hooked there car up to a logger and where running dangerously lean. But those are great numbers for the mods you have.

Thanks for the replys guys. I have no intention of adjusting anything on the safc until my logger gets here thursday. Then I'll see if I'm actually running rich.

Speedy, I haven't leaned anything out at all. I have the safc set to 0 across the board. I understand that there is no real answer here, but do you think I could do minimal tweaking liek say 5%max adjustment. I'm just trying to get a feel for what I can do with my current setup

Thanks Again for the replys :D

To be honest with you, when I had my stock 450's I did indeed lean mine out about 5% across the board on the HI settings, and on the low settings I just left it at 0 across the board. Good luck!!

One more thing. When I was talking to the guy, I was asking about what a/f ratio to shoot for. he said 11.5 . I thought 14.8 or 14.7 was stoich and where you want to be. Could someone tell me what I should shoot for?

Thanks
Dan

For a tubo car, 14.7 ,14.8 is bad. 11.5 -12.0 is good for a turbo car.
