small ball bearing 16G on a 1g??

buddy said he would sell me his small 16G ball bearing turbo for pretty cheap (thats the only reason i would put a small 16g in the car is the price) it is off his 98 GST will the turbo work on my 90 laser RS?? i plan on putting a ported 2g manifold on it and ported o2 housing all at the same time. i just dont wanna buy it and have it not beable to bolt into my car. thank!!

Yes, a 16G will bolt up to your car just fine. Depending on the outlet he was using you may have to be creative with your lower intercooler pipe.

I have never heard of a ball bearing 16G. Closest I can think of is the XS 16G Killer.

so ill probably need to have a custom IC pipe made?? one of my buddies said it wont work cuz of the outlet but i didnt see why i couldnt if i just tinkered with a few things.

a 16g is a bolt on affair for 1g's. But I have never heard of a ball bearing 16g. Can you post a picture of this thing? Maybe it's some different design, so if we can see a picture then we can tell you for sure if it'll just bolt on.
