Got her for $500. Needed an ecu. 152k and ran perfect....old guy had it and never touched the motor...besides scheduled maintenance and even had 14 yrs of reciepts to prove it.

Anyway, I sprayed the car myself at the extra bay at work..i'm a mechanic. Paint cost me about $100 if that. Only had time to do one coat of clear. Going to put on a couple more coats this weekend with some silver pearl in it....should look hot.

wow to AI....thats a clean bumper, and i have never said this in my life but nice white paint job. you can really see the differance between quality and crap work

you have flashing lights in the foggers? that would kill

Thanks. Actually thats why I like that front end. It does look really clean. My favorite reason though is because I've only ever seen one other DSM with it. And he's not even near me. He's on this site (CL Mantis Gst). Only thing different is that he does not have the Integra markers. Do you mean the lenses or the vents below the headlights? The markers are actually from an Integra. The outer part is a marker and the inner is a fog. No flashers in the front yet, maybe in the future.

ayy,
if i have a front bumper from a 98gs will it swap fine with my 95gst?
i got the blitz body kit but dont have the front bumper. . i dont like it to much anyways thou so i was gonna swappem and get a lip
and my side skirts are being a bi*** to get on, there fiberglass, this is common right?

^^^Wow... you just bought a thread back from the dead. As for front bumper it will fit fine. But, the headlights will be a little different. Might need to upgrade to a 2GB headlight for that.

Nothing special, Dodge viper metalic Gray.

heres' mine. this is a 120.00 paint job, done by yours' truly. it had a few dings but nothing too hard. the worst was doing the 2gb conversion. the paint was dupont acrilic enamal, single stage

I was involved in a little front-end collision back in '03. After the car was towed to the body shop, I decided that I wanted to "upgrade" it's appearance a little bit. I bought everything aftermarket instead of OE. VIS carbon fiber hood, Aerogear fiberglass fenders, urethane bumper cover and side skirts, custom paint, etc. My insurance company wrote me a check for $8500 to cover the damages, and my bill at the body shop ended up being right around $12K, so I paid the difference. I designed the graphic pattern myself. I had a vinyl company do the stencil for me. Here are some pics.

Why the hell weren't you in F&F?

So, I purchased this car at next to nothing due to the ugly wheels, massive amount of dents, and horrible green paint. The dents left me to believe that at some point it was parked at a golf driving range as the target LOL But before I could start fixing dents... that green paint had to be stripped off (due to the fact that it was latex and seemed to have been sprayed with an airless wagner spray gun :ohdamn: ).

<a href="http://s177.photobucket.com/albums/w208/captjackguitar/?action=view&current=100_6784croppedresized.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w208/captjackguitar/100_6784croppedresized.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

And a couple cans of Aircraft Stripper, some primer, some body putty, and hours of elbow grease later I have this... I also installed the 2gb front bumper and projector headlights and F1 fenders (not a huge fan of vented fenders but the price of fiberglass vented fenders cost less than a pair of stock steel fenders, and I had to replace them because the dents were too much to fix).

<a href="http://s177.photobucket.com/albums/w208/captjackguitar/?action=view&current=DSCF0127croppedresized.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w208/captjackguitar/DSCF0127croppedresized.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

And here it is after 99% of the dents are filled and some gloss black paint is applied, wet sanded and buffed. Not bad for far less a $1000 including the cost of the car in my opinion. And the next thing I'm buying is a set of wheels. Can't stand the ones that are on it :barf:

Thank you. I believe it were a stock color on certain model mitsubishi's, I just don't remember what. When I told them I wanted red at the paint store, They showed me the stock color, And this passion red were a bit brighter and the next color chip over, So I decided to give that a try instead. It's a very BRIGHT red.

I havent got the whole car painted yet but I decided to do a little pinstripe design on it one day when I painted the rims. Also painted the interior and engine for a car show that was in town. Not professional but not bad for first timer either haha. Let me know what you guys think.

I did the body work / prime / paint myself, with some help from some friends at school. I did this paint job when i attended my auto body school.

Eh i don't think it let me show the pictures due to my lack of posts? Here's a link to the gallery http://img19.imageshack.us/g/img00057rt.jpg/
