Did mine myself in a collision repair class I had for school. I have a ton of hours into it, but im pretty happy with the results. Check my build thread for the whole process.

Hey guys im almost ready to paint, and i wanted to ask, how many times should you sand-reprime and resand once you get to 400, which is were i am stopping right before i touch it up lightly with 800.-just from your experience (those who have actually painted their dsm "themselves")

Fyi. so far, (60-80-120-240-320-400)- orbital palm sander. Then (primer) And (400- dry,400-wet)- by hand/block. Then (primer) again. And will be doing (glide coat) soon.

you didnt paint the bumper? and what do you mean roll primered or sealed? you used a paint roller?
Ha yeah it's a lot of upkeep and making sure almost nothing touches it.

dang painting outside? dirt and dust blowing all in your paint. ouch
