Basically, I was going to install this old EGT Gauge that I have but I haven't been able to locate a piece of the probe. And the more and more research I do the more it seems like the EGT Gauge is kinda pointless, at least for me. So now I am interested in a wideband, because I think it will help significantly not only in Hi-Throttle but Lo-throttle as well.
But I don't plan on getting DSMlink or AEM or anything, I am just going to stick with my Pocketlogger. So, is it worth getting/installing a wideband O2 sensor and gauge without using a "laptop-based" tuning system?
How helpful is it to have the AFR "on the fly?"

. I ran without one for a couple of years, and regret not buying one sooner. Takes all the guesswork out of WOT tuning, and can save your engine from an early death. I was tuning for no knock on e85 a couple months ago, and then borrowed a wbo2 to see where I was. 16.0:1...eeek! I would have melted something in short order if I had not checked that out.
