Hey all,
Problem with the project car.

She's not running yet, and while waiting on parts, I did alot of interior cleaning. Fixed the center console, got rid of the horsec0k shifter knob. etc.

But anyways, I was going through the gears while sitting, and this is kind of hard to describe, but bear with me.

Usually when you are in 2nd and you want to goto 3rd, the shifter kind of "automatically" goes to the center and lets you gingerly move up into 3rd.

Well my shifter is not *returning to center*? If that's how you describe it.

I can see it now, goin hard in 2nd and go to shift to 3rd, finding its not 3rd, bt 1st again.

What could i adjust? I was thinking maybe that spring maybe worn out, but the one I yanked from the boneyard was from a 90 and that dont fit.

Any suggestions?
