Where do u guys shift/launch while racing your AWD dsm:confused:
Any info is appreciated, I'm just trying to get feel of how other people race, and what works better. :dsm: :talon: :laser: :thumb:

Uhh, you want to shift little higher then 5.5K rpms, unless of course you're runing T25. If you dynoed your car you want to shift after peak power. I usually shift right before 7k since I have stock cams.

when launching in my gsx i usually revved it up to about 4.5k and let the clutch out a little slow until the car started to move and then i let it out real quick. You could drop the clutch if you really wanted too but that's harder on the drivetrain. Then i just shifted at about redline each time. I only got to race my car twice. I ran a 15.2 and it was bone stock w/ 120k miles on that biatch. I just bought the thing too, and at the time it needed a new CV joint and tie rod end. Oops!
