I have a 1993 Eclipse with the 4g37 n/a 1.8l and I have had a misfire that I couldn't track down. I actually parked it for about a year and a half cause I was tired of the headache this car has been causing. I installed a new distributor cap and rotor/button and the spark plugs and wires, the misfire continued so I had a compression test done and every cylinder showed 80 psi I know it's supposed to be 180 psi I believe. So I assume it's off time by one to two teeth.

My question is how do I determine if this is the case and how do I reset the time on it cause I can only ever find info about the 2.0l version of the car
