Hey guys. So I’m trying to identify my block to make sure it’s a true 4g63t block, (vin number is not where it’s supposed to be, it’s blank) and I come across this sensor in the freeze plug. Anyone know what it is....can’t find any info on it....thanks.

For sure a block heater. If you pull it out, you should see something like the pic below:

The lack of a vin on the block says that its been replaced by a new block from the factory as some point, its not the original that came in any Dsm.
