Rust covered under warranty??

Well my eclipse has some rust on it, and one of the service advisors at my old job told me he's almost positive that it's covered under warranty and that I should take it to them and I will be able to get a free hatch..Do you guys think it's worth the shot? BTW, it's a 1996 Eclipse with 90k.

Worth a shot....yes.

Do I think they will cover it.....nope.

You never know, you might get lucky. I am on your side.

not sure if your warranty still exists even.... isn't it 5 years or 60k?

Nope, I found it rust warranty is 7 year/100,000 miles. :thumbdown
