Hey Tuners,
Got my car retuned at RRE at it was a great experience. Sam took the time to teach me a few things while he worked and I have nothing but great things to say about the entire crew there. If you are on the fence about going there just do it. I really look forward to doing business with these guys again.
So my car was previously tuned by Aaron at ER and since then I’ve moved to SoCal so going back the the PNW wasn’t really an option. Which was a bummer because I had a great experience at ER. It previously made 441 awhp and 440awtq. New numbers are 462 and 382 tq. This is far from a back to back comparison because the dynos were different and a few things have changed on the car. For one thing the MBC didn’t offer the level of control that the 3 port offered.
Changes are:
CB ported evo3 manifold
Buschar 2.5” throttle body elbow
Evo 8 ECU
Swapped out the Hallman Pro for a 3 port EBC
Evo 8 Maf
Crappy Cali 91 Oct vs 92 Oct (I have no clue if this has any affect on the meth tune)
Torque was kept in check to save the drivetrain and Sam did a dual map tune with map switching for the meth kit which I am really happy about. Car is running 100% meth with a 10gal nozzle.
