RnR catback

I'm in desperate need of an exhaust. I upgraded my stock turbo to a 16G when it crapped out, its way to big for the stock exhaust that I still have. I want to get the 3" catback from rnr, but I can't afford the upgraded muffler right now. I will eventually upgrade to a magnaflow muffler. I just want to make sure that the standard muffler will be ok for now. I know this will probably cost a little more in the long run, but I'm ok with that. Any thoughts?

How much more is it to upgrade? I'd say just wait until you can get the muffler you want, then buy it all at once. But do whatever you think is best, obviously. Just my .02.

$50 for the muffler and $40 for the tip.

Why don't you just save some money and go with the 2.5" system. If you aren't planning to go under 11sec in the 1/4 you don't need 3" piping. I just got a 2.5" turbo-back from them with the cat and upgraded muffler, but no tip and I was impressed with the quality. I went to the local muffler shop and got a magnaflow tip put on (expanded to fit and welded) for like 10 bucks less and it looks awesome. If you want pics, let me know but they are REALLY big.

The price is the same for 2.5" and 3" for their catback system.

I just want to make sure that the standard muffler isn't going to suck so bad that it negates any gains made buy going to larger piping.

get their $50 straight through muffler and just leave out the 4" tip...and when u have the money, u can buy a tip from a local muffler shop.
