Ok I am pulling the head on a 95 eagle talon this weekend and need to know the correct sockets to buy if I don't have them. I have read through various threads and I have come on 12mm and 14mm 12pt sockets and also one concerning an allen wrench cap that is supposedly over the head bolt themselves. So can someone give me the definitive answer on the socket sizes and allen wrench size (if needed) to undo the head bolts?

well i need the same thing because i am pulling the head on my 1g to i have tried a 12 and a 14 but

i dont think its a 13 maybe try a 1/2

see that is the thing that is getting me LOL. I don't know if it is just me not looking in the right place, but I see 10 bolts and when I feel the top of them there doesn't seem to be a place for a hex allen socket to fit into Let me go check again LOL

I just pulled the head off of a '97-'99 motor and you need a 12 point 12mm socket. That shouls be the same on a '95. The 14 mm 12 point is what my ARP head studs use.

okay thanks LOL well funny how the 12pt set I bought has 10, 11, 13, 14, 15, 17, 18, and 19mm. WTF happened to the 12mm? Just my luck LOL Guess I will be buying one seperate thanks for the info.
