OK my RS has been sitting with the passenger side motor mount in the trunk, so the engine has been hanging there for about 2 years. Today when i went to install the mount the hole was off about a 1/4 in.. So i was wondering do i need to loosen the other mounts and try to get the bolt in or can i put some washers(1 or 2) behind the mount bracket to get it moved over enough to put the bolt in?

Thanks in advance :dsm:

Ok i'll try that tomorrow, i need the engine to move to the lefta 1/4in., any idea which mount i should loosen first in order to do this quicker. Also is there anything i should know before i start loosening the other mounts.

Try placing a jack on the engin or transmission but not the oil pan. Depending on where you place the jack, the engine will move up and in a direction.
