Car runs strong, turbo boosts fine. (actually replaced a blown turbo about 4 weeks ago)
Motor was rebuilt, all new internals except the crank which was in good shape. It was grinded. Rebuilt head with 10k miles on it and mitsu metal headgasket. ARP head studs and main studs. Valves on the head were in excellent shape.
I expected some smoking but its been over 1100 miles now and it still smokes. The smoke isnt thick, its a thin but alot of it. I know its oil because I keep having to put oil in it. The smoke is greyish white.
I changed the oil after 100 miles, then again at 500 miles. 10w30.
When I start the car up in the morning (its not cold here yet btw, prolly around 70 degrees in the morning) it smokes. I get out of the car and see oil sputtering out of the exhaust. I put me hand over it and there is small dots of oil all over my hand.
When I look at the driveway where it was parked as I pull in after work I can see oil marks all over from the exhaust.
The shop that rebuilt it is very reputable. They have built 3 race engines for my uncles cars.
The shop that put the motor in are A-holes and there are oil leaks I still have to get them to fix (though I really dont wanna take it too them again, I think im just gonna pay someone else to do it)
When I drove the car since I got the motor put in I didnt baby it but I didnt redline it either.
The rest of the day the car wont spray oil out of the exhaust, this only happens after its been sitting overnight. Nor will it smoke on startup.
When Take off if drive like normal (Ie not racing it or getting on the throttle hard) its fine, no smoke. When I gun it in 1st or 2nd gear its like a chimney.
Think Ill just sell this thing Im getting so tired of BS.
