rear hatch squeaking driving me insane!!

the rear hatch on my 93 eclopse squeake at every little bump, and it is driving me crazy. i have tried tightening the latch, and loosening the latch, i put it at the lowest setting right nowand still squeaking.. i cant tell exactly what it is, but if i have a friend push up on the rear deck from the backseat then it stops.
Any suggestions on how to make it stop.. it makes me not even want to drive the car.. YES it bothers me that much

Silcone spray the gasket and seating bumpers. Just a little bit, it should stop the squeaks.

Wrap duct tape around the receiving end of the trunk, the square latch right above the rear light panel. This will make it act like it is bigger and will hold the hatch better, and shouldn't rattle while going over bumps or crusing.
